This is a great comedy routine for parlour or stage. Magician asks for a male volunteer. He then shows two opaque scarves which he ties together & tucks into the top of the guys pants. The guy is asked to concentrate on his favourite colour & told that another scarf of the very same colour will appear by magic tied between the scarves. After many comedy bits, magician gives scarves a mighty tug, and then found tied between them is a pair of men's underpants! Listen to the howls. Imagine for a moment that you have 1 to 5 people in front of you; you tell them you want to conduct an experiment into the subconscious and you conduct several tests to prove your powers.

This is all done under test conditions, and the results are awesome!

To begin with a bag is shown and the contents tipped out onto the table for everyone to examine. 4 different coloured stones are shown and one black. They are placed into the bag and shaken to mix them up.
You then instruct the spectator to take one stone and keep their hand closed so no one sees the stone! This is repeated with the other spectators until the bag is empty and placed to one side.
You then divine who does not have the black stone without looking, peeking or asking any questions! All it takes is a glance into their minds eye and you correctly eliminate the coloured stones. In fact the spectators do not have any idea which stone they hold, as they have not seen the colour themselves! You do this till you are left with two spectators, you then go on to correctly divine the location of the black stone and of course who holds the coloured stone.
Or of course vice versa, this alone is a jaw dropping moment! But wait there is more!

The spectator with the black stone is invited to conduct another experiment. You have them place the black stone and a coloured stone into the bag and shake the stones about to mix them (YOU DO NOT TOUCH THE BAG AT ALL DURING THIS PROCESS). They are then asked to take a stone in each hand but not to look at them just place their hands outstretched and of course keep them closed! You then take the spectators hands in yours and again after a little talk of the sub conscious being an extremely powerful entity you correctly divine the hand, which holds the black and the coloured stone. This can be instantly repeated with a second person with no reset at all!

Don’t have 5 people to perform to? It’s not a problem at all you can perform this trick for 1 or 100 people. The routine is simply designed to play for 1 - 5 or even more people, plus you can jazz the routine and take a bit from here and from there! It is a sure fire winner... A high-class, polished mahogany apparatus with ornate brass hardware.

Two pieces of thin rope are threaded through the see-thru Crystal Die, then put into the Cabinet.
The rope is threaded through a hole on both sides of the Cabinet and the lid is closed to secure the Die.
One piece of rope from each side is wrapped over the lid and tied in a knot.

You see a small piece of rope hanging from your sleeve, you try to "Flick" it out of the way, you then attempt to pull it out, but it gets longer and longer, & no end seems to be in sight! The rope sticks, another end appears at the bottom of your trousier leg (tucked into your sock if you wish) you pull on this end & the rope feeds up the coat sleeve & down the OTHER trousier leg! pulling hard again, the rope is seen to travel UP one trousier leg & DOWN the other.

Finally tugging on the rope really hard, out pop a pair of very GAUDY boxer shorts stitched onto the very end!

Magical & Funny, remember the audience sees at least three clear ends before the shorts appear, & yet at the end they only see one very long length of rope with only TWO ends, & one of those ends contain a pair of boxers!!!

(Intercessor - someone who acts as an intermediate agent in a transaction or helps resolve differences)

For more years than magicians can remember, one of the most powerful principles used in card magic has been the "torn corner principle." A card is selected, one corner is torn off and kept by the spectator, then the rest of the card is destroyed.

The card is later found in any type of impossible location, inside a cigarette or lemon, for example. (Robert-Houdin used to have the card appear locked inside of a small safe buried under a tree.) Of course, not only is the card found restored, but the torn off corner matches exactly, proving it was the selected card. All of these mind boggling miracles work on the same principle, that of the corner switch. The torn corner of the forced selected card being switched for a corner of the duplicate card, already set-up in the final location.

From now on, thanks the Gaeton's incredible Intercessor gimmick you will be able to achieve all of these effects, without switching the corner at any time! More than that, once the card has been selected the spectator may sign a corner of the card which is then ripped off and handed to the spectator. The spectator may immediately verify that his torn corner matches the card, which only then will be destroyed and found restored in an impossible location. This is an extremely effective apparatus mental effect, direct in presentation, like the classic Mental Epic Slate, and bound to make a strong impact on any audience. The props are designed on the item Colour In Mind based on an idea by Arthur Carter, marketed by the Supreme Magic Co. of England. However,major improvements have been made in the working, to give you a much stronger effect.

In effect the performer displays five Giant Cards with five ESP symbols in different colours. The cards are in a case half the height of the cards, so that no extra cards can be concealed in the case. On the back of the case is printed a prediction naming the design the spectator will choose. A spectator is asked to think of any design. There is no force of any kind, and the spectator may genuinely pick any of the five ESP designs. The selection is not known to the magician or anybody else. The performer now removes the cards one at a time from the case, displaying them for all the audience to see. The spectator is asked to call out "stop" when the his selected design is held up by the magician. The spectator does this. The performer turns around the case, and there printed on the back is a prediction of the same design the spectator selected!

A fantastic routine for children's entertainers, originated by Ian Adair, the wooden props for this effect comprise of a cut out crown with a large jewel, and a safe. In Ian Adair's routine the crown is covered with a cloth.

The magician states that the Queen owns a very valuable crown and in its center is avery valuable jewel. He further states that when the Queen is not wearing her crown she asks for the priceless jewel to be removed and placed inside the special security safe. He opens, first the first door to the safe, it's not there. He opens the second door and points as if it is there, but it isn't. The priceless jewel has gone missing. Then he uncovers the crown to show that the jewel is there, set in the center of the crown. He removes the jewel, pokes his fingers through the big gap and recovers the crown. He places the jewel inside one of the compartments of the two-doored case (which resembles a safe!) closing the door.

Here the jewel apparently vanishes (having been robbed from the safe!) all the usual tipping from one side to the other takes place, (ala the Die Box) the children all scream & shout the jewel has gone. Each door, one at a time being opened, then finally both doors are opened.

Where can it be? the magician rushes over to the silk covered crown, whips the silk off, but it is not there either. He covers it again, gets the children to shout out the magic words etc. and yes, when revealed, it's back in position, set in the center of the crown! (you don't have to cover it, you can have the Jewel re-appear visibly if you prefer)

Finally he opens out the complete policy, and it displays a GIANT replica of the selected card!
