HOW is a GREAT masterpiece of the minds of Magic From Holland and Ferry de Riemer. You are going to love this and your spectators are going to ask themselves HOW is it done!

Effect: The magician shows a deck of cards, shuffles them and spreads them face down. One prediction card is placed aside or given to a spectator to hold.

Let's IMAGINE, the cards are all shuffled, but each four of a kind are amongst each other, so here are the four aces for example, here the four queens etc as the magician points to the spread out cards on the table. Can you imagine that? the magician asks.

The spectator can imagine it and now he is asked to select a card, but to make it really fair, he is asked to call a NUMBER between (lets say) 10 and 40. ANY NUMBER is chosen and the magician openly, slowly and FAIRLY counts to the chosen number and removes the selected card as well as the 3 cards beside it as being an imaginary four of a kind!

The rest of the cards are placed aside but in full view. The magician asks if the spectator can imagine if those 4 selected cards are the Aces for example. The spectator can. He now selects one of these 4 and the remaining 3 cards are placed aside next to the deck.

Time for the big finish, one card is chosen at RANDOM. The card is turned over and an Ace of Hearts is shown, The prediction card is turned over and seen to be a 100% match, the Ace of Hearts!
Trust us as we say:

But... you now say, you have imagined that these were the four aces and as you say this, you turn over the 3 removed cards. They are all BLANK, as they are removed from your mind, an imagination doesn't last long...

You now get the remaining of the deck and turn them over and show that EACH and EVERY card is a BLANK card!!! HOW, HOW, HOW...

Here is a clever and surprising little box that is guaranteed to deliver huge entertainment value! Great for all audiences from 4 to 104.

Imagine pouring the liquid of your choice into a juice style glass. Then placing the glass into the box, closing the lid and turning the box upside down, and from side to side,
as many times as like, and in any direction you desire. After doing so, you then open the lid of the box and take out the glass still full of liquid!

Effect can be repeated over and over again. In fact, you can even let the lid swing open in the up side down position and the glass and liquid still remain inside!

With magicians magical gesture, the signed coin penetrates through the can! the coin magically enters into the can!

The magician shows the can,to the audience's surprise there is no opening or hidden slit (except for the opening on the top of the can) it really looks like a normal can!

Now the magician takes out the signed coin from the opening on the top of the can, the coin is safely returned to the audience, it's the SAME marked coin!

You can also place the signed coin on the spectator's hand, then the coin will penetrate through the can.

It is very easy to perform and no special skills are required.

EFFECT: A deck of cards lies on the table & by it's side are four aces. The performer asks the spectator to mix up the aces face down, & lay them on the table, (you turn your back during this) Ask the spectator to slide one ace towards himself, then put it in his pocket without looking. Another volunteer is asked to merely THINK of any value from Ace to King, tell him he will get a "Mental Flash" on just one value, when he gets one he keeps it to himself. Now you remove the deck from the box BEFORE anything has been said. Ask the spectator with the Ace to take it from his pocket, & that will represent a suit, he does so, (lets assume it's a Club). Ask the second spectator to announce for the first time the value he is thinking of (say the value is a nine for instance) = THE NINE OF CLUBS, you then count off eight cards, when the ninth card is turned over it is seen to be the nine of clubs! The performer produces a silk from his jacket pocket. Next he ties a knot and then the knot automatically unties itself! This is an impressive DOUBLE prediction trick!

Effect:
A blue paper wallet is shown on the table plus six cards depicting various items of fruit (printed in full colour). One card is selected by an audience member. When the paper wallet is unfolded it is seen that another sheet of folded paper is inside (yellow),this sheet is also unfolded & it is seen to contain another sheet of folded paper of a different colour again (green). The green paper is unfolded and inside is seen another paper (orange) when this paper is unfolded it is seen to contain a miniature card face down, when it is turned over it is seen to be a duplicate of the selected fruit! The card is put to one side. The empty papers are once again folded up within each other, as they were at the start & placed to one side. The magician offers to repeat the trick, but this time in a different way! The remaining fruit picture cards are now turned face down and mixed up on the table, it is seen that they all have printed numbers on the reverse. This time a spectator chooses a number. When the papers are once again opened, ANOTHER card has appeared in the innermost paper (they were all empty!!) the card is face down. The spectator turns his chosen number card over & it is seen to be a picture of some Strawberries, the face down card in the paper is turned over, on the other side is a picture, & yes you've guessed it, it is the same picture of the Strawberries!

A pair of Scissors for your cutting effects, like a cut and restored rope or ribbon, silk or newspaper. It works like any scissors should (sharp enough to cut rope!). But when you hand the spectator the scissors closed, they can't be opened!! So you open them for the spectator, patiently teaching them how to use a pair of scissors, and hand it to them open. Once in a while we come across a trick with a method that is as inspiring and whimsical as the effect it creates. AmazeBox is the best example of this that we've ever encountered (think of the wow factor of the best Tenyo items...but this one you can use onstage for hundreds of people). A very funny book by Ian Adair. Written in his own highly entertaining style. Effect:
Scotty is a Scottish cat. The performer removes a cut out figure of a cute black cat from a stiff cardboard envelope, which has two cut out windows on it's front. The children first see her through the open front of the envelope. Scotty is replaced inside the envelope & her face & body can be clearly seen through the cut -out windows at all times during the effect.

Scotty is rather sad, it's her birthday today & all she wants is a tartan ribbon, to tie around her neck. A length of Royal Stewart Tartan is displayed and pleated, then placed into a coloured envelope. A child assists by waving a magic wand over the envelope. This is then opened & displayed inside, it is now empty, the ribbon has disappeared ! When the cut out figure is removed is slowly removed from the window envelope, there neatly tied around Scotty's neck is the missing length of tartan ribbon!!!

Here's one kids effect that "sucks", & we don't mean in a bad way! It's a sucker type effect which gets all the children sucking through invisible straws........

EFFECT:
A large boldly printed card, illustrating a tumbler filled with a bright red strawberry drink against a yellow background is shown. "I'd like you to pretend that you have a drinking straw, if you all suck through the straw, the red strawberry drink will disappear from the tumbler. It will then be empty," the performer says. The children respond. When the card is removed from inside the envelope, the tumbler illustration shows it to be completely empty" ....... BUT the children soon become aware that the envelope is being suspiciously reversed. The performer now asks the children to "blow" through their "invisible straws", and they do. When the card is removed again, it reveals the tumbler to be FILLED, as it was originally. But once again the children are quick to notice the performer has cheekily reversed the envelope, & soon realise that there must be TWO separate cards.

THIS CAN BE REPEATED AS MANY TIMES AS REQUIRED.
The final stage of the effect takes place when the filled tumbler is on view through the cut-out window of the envelope. "No, there's only ONE card, one tumbler & one strawberry drink .....there it is, the performer says, as he points to it, lets all do some really magic & make the red strawberry drink inside the tumbler disappear into thin air. Get ready to suck through your invisible straws boys and girls." Everyone joins in - when the illustrated card is slowly & visibly removed from the envelope, the children SEE the red strawberry drink slowly & visibly diminish in the tumbler until it vanishes completely!! When the card is completely removed from the envelope (which is now seen to be completely empty!) IT IS SEEN TO HAVE A CUT OUT SHAPE WHERE THE DRINK USED TO Be!! the performer making a point of looking through it.

The perfect effect and routine for presentation in front of very young children. Most, if not all children are familiar with the well known nursery rhyme "3 Blind Mice". This effect is based on this nursery rhyme. The farmer's wife features, but without the carving knife! - it's now 100% P.C.
During the routine the performer asks the children to recite the rhyme, after him, which he has changed a little. "Three blind mice, three blind mice, see how they run, see how they run. The farmers wife chased them all over the house & tied a knot in the tails of each mouse, three blind mice ......."

EFFECT:
Four large cards are displayed.
The card on the top of the set is a full coloured cartoon picture of the farmer's wife, wearing a blue skirt and yellow apron. The back design of the card is also shown.
The performer tells the children that she was forever trying to catch the three mice who lived in the house, since they were always stealing cheese from her kitchen cupboard.
The three remaining cards illustrate pictures of THREE cute blind mice., named Dinky Pinky & Stinky ..... ooooops "I mean Slinky!" they were triplets!

The card illustrating the farmer's wife is reversed,as too is one of the mouse cards. "the farmers wife is after the mice, the performer explains, which one of the two reversed cards do you think she appears on?" All the children point to the "obvious" one, but the performer mistakes their choice and reverses the other.... the mouse card, which he discards. "Oh dear , you are all wrong ... lets try again". Another mouse card is reversed alongside the reversed farmer's wife one. Again the performer asks the children to point to the card which bears the picture of the farmer's wife, and again he cheats by making out they pointed to the other.(The children soon make it clear that "their" choices are being ignored!). This card is also reversed to show it also bears the picture of a mouse.

This leaves two cards - one displaying the last remaining mouse, the other (still reversed) must be the farmer's wife. "Only two cards left. It's now very easy to guess which one of the two cards has the picture of the farmers wife on it." The mouse card is placed aside, and the performer stares at the front of the reversed card. "You all think this must be the farmer's wife, do you?" the performer asks. "No , no it's NOT the farmers wife... she's nowhere to be seen. That's why those three clever mice managed to find this BIG lump of cheese & nibble it up!" The illustrated picture on the last remaining card displays a very large lump of delicious cheese! no sight of the farmer's wife thank goodness!!

A fantastic easy to do trick, with a very entertaining storyline. The magician explains that he was walking along the beach, & suddenly he came across this small bottle sticking out of the sand, it has a message inside all rolled up, & a label on the outside that reads "It's Magic" (must have been the magicians destiny to find this bottle!). The cork is removed & the message is read by a spectator. The message says to allow a spectator to chose a card, so the magician removes a pack of cards, the spectator then MENTALLY selects ANY card (or they can touch one, whilst the magician looks the other way). The message then continues, that the magician must shove a joker into the pack without looking, so he places the pack behind his back to do this. The message then states that the joker will locate the chosen card, so for the first time, the spectator names the mentally selected card, & when the cards are spread it is seen that the joker is next to the freely selected card! The message then continues "The chosen card will be completely blue" not knowing what this means, & being a bit confused, the magician eventually turns the card over & it has a BLUE back, all the other cards are turned over and all the other cards have RED BACKS!!! The last line of the message reads "Isn't that AMAZING!!"

Your spectator's will agree that it is an amazing trick, & hugely entertaining as well!

Using a bigger bottle, this can be built into a much bigger trick for platform or parlour shows.

Effect: The magician opens a red box and reveals a black box inside. Inside the black box a red sponge ball can be seen. The red sponge ball is removed, now the red box is closed and put in the black box (the box which was on the outside before is now located inside the other box!).

The boxes are opened again, now inside the innermost box, a green sponge ball is found. Again the boxes are closed (now red box is on

the outside again, and the black box is inside). After opening the boxes for the last time, a yellow sponge ball is revealed!

Now the 2 boxes can be shown to be exactly the same size.

Everything can be examined!

EFFECT: A deck of cards lies on the table & by it's side are four aces. The performer asks the spectator to mix up the aces face down, & lay them on the table, (you turn your back during this) Ask the spectator to slide one ace towards himself, then put it in his pocket without looking. Another volunteer is asked to merely THINK of any value from Ace to King, tell him he will get a "Mental Flash" on just one value, when he gets one he keeps it to himself. Now you remove the deck from the box BEFORE anything has been said. Ask the spectator with the Ace to take it from his pocket, & that will represent a suit, he does so, (lets assume it's a Club). Ask the second spectator to announce for the first time the value he is thinking of (say the value is a nine for instance) = THE NINE OF CLUBS, you then count off eight cards, when the ninth card is turned over it is seen to be the nine of clubs! A great PACKS FLAT PLAYS BIG ITEM for the Kids performer! A very large board is shown, with three big coloured circles on it. The first circle is orange in colour & the other two are blue. The circles are also numbered 1 2 & 3. The magician says that he can magically move the orange circle from number 1 position to number 3, & he places the board behind his back. The kids however can see him turn the board over, where there is a new set of printed numbers, & the orange circle is now seen at number three on the right hand side of the board, instead of number 1 at the left. The kids scream that they know how it's done, as the magician attempts to bring it back to what it was, but the kids see him again turn it over!!!

Now the magic really begins!!! The orange circle at number one on the left, almost visibly moves to THE MIDDLE of the board! When the board is turned over, all three circles are now BLUE!!!! Then with a tap of the board, they VISIBLY change from blue, to RED YELLOW & GREEN!!!

One more surprise is in store, as the magician reaches into each coloured circle & removes a SILK, of EACH OF THE COLOURS!!!! A card is shown face down in a vinyl wallet, & placed to one side. The spectator is shown a quantity of other symbol cards that have been cut in half. The half cards are mixed up face down, as directed by the spectator. The idea is that the spectator should try to pair up the half cut cards so that they match, with the cards FACE DOWN. If the spectator is psychic he should match the cards no problem! but do they? ... No they don't!! in fact they get them all wrong!!!!

"No problem" says the magician as he passes over a "Magic Crystal" to the spectator, "If you believe in the POWER OF THE CRYSTAL, the crystal will guide you", & SO IT DOES! the spectator successfully matches all the cards!! The crystal is taken back by the magician, removing the "Power" from the spectator. The cards are again mixed face down, without looking at the faces, the magician pushes one half card forward (without looking at the face!) & the spectator also pushes a card forward without looking at the face (FREE CHOICE!), WILL THE two half cards MATCH? The magician explains that because he now has the crystal, he will get it right, but the spectator will get it wrong. The spectator believes that if the magician gets it right, then they also will get it right, WRONG! the magician will get it right because HE has the POWER OF THE CRYSTAL! the two half cards are turned face up THEY DO NOT MATCH, so how everyone will think did the magician get it right? "Because at the beginning of the experiment" explains the magician, "I placed a single full sized card in a vinyl wallet to one side, this card MATCHES the final outcome, because I had the POWER OF THE CRYSTAL! when the card that has been on the table RIGHT FROM THE START OF THE TRICK! is turned face up, it is seen to be HALF of the spectators FREELY CHOSEN card & half of the magicians! a sort of "Hybrid" card. Magician is seen to be wearing a fancy satin tie with cards printed all over it. Two packs of cards are laid down onto the table, one pack is Red & the other is Blue. The spectator is given a free choice of pack "To work the magic with" (lets say the spectator chooses the red pack) he is then requested to think of ANY card printed on the tie, a TOTALLY FREE CHOICE! (for instance the 10 of spades).

Remember at this stage, the magician does NOT KNOW what the card is!!! the spectator removes the cards from the pack, & is requested to deal the cards, one card at a time, face up onto the table, until he arrives at his card, he is also asked to count the cards out loud, as he deals. Your spectator will be speechless, as he counts 51 cards & his card will be the CARD THAT IS MISSING!!!

"Don't worry" says the magician, I knew which card you would choose!! The magician, then picks up the Blue Pack, removes the cards, & for the first time asks the spectator what his card is.
